Claire Fearon is a successful contemporary British Painter whose widely acclaimed art works in acrylic on canvas have sold to private collections in the UK and throughout the world.
She has exhibited nationally and internationally and is well known for her use of vibrant and often brave colour choices in her paintings.  Her current work explores issues of life and death and the macro and micro of life itself from the tiniest cell to the great cosmos.

'When working I like to first paint my canvas totally black, then I work intuitively choosing colours at random, building layer upon layer, keeping how I am feeling at the forefront of my mind.
I work relatively fast, trying not to think too hard about the marks I am making. This is something I find difficult as by nature I would rather control every move and angle. I find it challenging to just let go and see where the painting takes me rather than the other way round but I really enjoy the journey.
Within the last year or so I have begun to see cellular structures and images of life and death entering all my work.
I like that my work is constantly evolving and changing bringing something new to myself as an artist and to my audience.' Claire Fearon.
