Alberto Martinez

Alberto was born in Matanzas, Cuba in 1977. From 1993 to 1997 he studied at the Academy of Fine Arts
'Oscar Fernandez Morera', in Trinidad, Cuba, specializing in sculpture, design and cartoonism
and participating in various collective exhibitions.
After receiving his fine arts degree in 1997, he designed and
produced billboards and general art works while in the army.
From 1999 to 2003 he participated in numerous collectives
and individual exhibitions in Trinidad, Cuba.

From 2003 to the present day he lives and works in Kemptown, Brighton.

He participated in the Artists Open Houses in 2006 ,
with his very own style of urban surrealism and comic book cityscapes in vibrant colours.
