| Originally from Newport in Wales, Colleen achieved a BA in Fine Art (painting with photography) at Newport College of Art and Design. She came to Brighton to do a postgraduate art teaching course, taught art for five years at Mayfield College and has lived here ever since. Her work is available through her website and at the Cry Of The Gulls Gallery in Brighton. |

For the last couple of years Colleen has been working on the Underwater Flower series of photographs. 'I am fascinated by the sometimes other worldly look of various flowers when submerged in water and aim to produce images that have something special in terms of colour and form.'
These photographs formed a panel of work that was awarded an Associateship of the Royal Photographic Society in 2007.
More recently, she has been working on a series of ambiguous, multi-layered images that engage the viewer in a visual game of interpretation. |

All the prints are signed limited editions and individually printed on archival quality paper using a professional printer with ultra chrome pigment inks. Colleen uses conservation quality materials, which means the work is guaranteed against fading in normal conditions for a nominal 100 years. The Nielsen aluminium frame is their top of the range product with polished edge glazing, easy opening swivel clips and integral hangers. |
