Errol is the son of a highly talented sculptor and illustrator.
He made the mistake of deciding,
when he was nineteen, that he would never do anything that
his father had done.
He was thirty-eight before he started working in ceramics
and called himself a ceramicist – which his father wasn't.
Four years later he started working in wood – which
his father never did – and 'fessed up' to being a sculptor
after all.
Errol now creates fabulous sculptures in wood, steel, stainless-steel
and copper
– and is a sculptor from a workshop on Brighton seafront.
