OSBORNE VISTAS
Open House venue 14 - 54 Osborne Villas, BN3 2RB.
Exhibiting artists: David Streeter - landscape photography and driftwood sculptures,
Lisa Creagh
- photography
London born David won his first photographic competition aged 12 with a black and white print he processed himself in his Dad's 'darkroom-in-a-cupboard'. The ten shillings prize went to his head. He left school at 16 with a few O levels and an ‘A’ in Art & Crafts to conquer the creative world. Moving to Brighton he instantly fell in love with the city's beach, piers, colourful characters, and funky sunsets - not to mention the bars – and he’s been trying to capture them on camera ever since.

After 20 years in the advertising & creative industry, picking up a slightly more prestigious Gold award along the way, David has come back full circle to his first love of photography once again. This first Open House collection of beach related landscapes, digitally shot, and then produced as simple, bold canvases  is an attempt  to evoke the smells, the sights, the sounds of a day at the seaside. Quirky driftwood creations complete the scene.
So grab a towel, and the factor 25.... Let’s hit the beach...!
Tea and muffins are on offer in the decked rear garden for the trail weary.
